So here is a sneak peak of one topic that I will be covering in the new Ebook coming this month. This is not the exact copy, but it is basically the same content. I want you to see how extensive this book is going to be so that you can get excited about using it! It is going to be the very first on the net to cover all of this information!
When you see the images below, you will be able to click on them to enlarge them.
So first of all, what is TWITTER?
Well here is the Wikipedia definition:
TWITTER is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read other users’ updates known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length which are displayed on the user’s profile page and delivered to other users who have subscribed to them (known as followers).
Some people just do not see TWITTER as something that is important in building their brand, but I have learned over the past several months that it really is. I actually used to tell people not to waste their time with it.
It has become the fastest growing social site on the net today. It really amazes me at how quickly it has grown. So if you are serious about branding yourself, you really want to get on there. So here is how you set up and run a TWITTER account.
Now they say that you can take the total number of subscribers that you have, and expect 2-3% of them to react to your posts. That means if you have 3,500 followers, if you send a “tweet” sending them to a website 70 or so will visit it. So the larger your follower base, the more people you can send to a site at any given time.
That is really staggering when you think about it. That means that if you had 15,000 followers, you could get 300 people to a website at any given time. Now you still don’t want to be sending them only to marketing sites. But you also don’t want to get into the habit of posting information about your personal life…
What I mean by that is that you don’t want to be telling people that you are brushing your teeth. Or you are baking a pizza. Once in awhile this is OK, but people really don’t care.
Now I have posted about going camping or reading a good book and give the title because people like to get involved in that way, but not ALL your mundane things that you do on a daily basis…so just try to keep the majority of your posts containing good information relevent to your niche.
So lets take you step by step in setting up your TWITTER account if you have not already.
Step 1. Set up your account
Setting up your account is easy. First, go to www.Twitter.com
Next you want to click “Get Started – Join”
Once you have done this, you will be able to start “Tweeting”.
This is part one of the TWITTER series. Next TWITTER post I will cover what to do next in setting up your account.
Enjoy,
